Labor Day

It worked out great that Noah was born around Labor Day. It gave Cory an extra day to be home with us. So sad that he has to go back to work tomorrow.

The girls had a lot of fun playing the backyard this afternoon. It's so nice having a friend for Peyton to play with because she doesn't ask me to get in the water with her. I got to sit in a chair, and watch while my mom took pictures, and Cory helped the girls slide. nice.

Peyton made up a song about "standing in the middle". She was very passionate about it.

And this little duder spent all day sleeping. I'm really hoping we don't have a repeat of last night. He was up from 11pm- 3am. I have no idea what was up with that. ::sigh:: He would fall asleep on me, and would be wide awake the minute Cory laid him down. We didn't have to deal with Peyton having her days and nights mixed up. If it continues, how do you fix it? I know he is only 6 days old, and is only up for like 5 hours total in a 24 hour period, but as his awake time increases I'd just like to know how to make sure that is during the day.

I also managed a little photo shoot. This is the only picture I liked. Peyton wouldn't hold him because she didn't like his "belly booger".  Hopefully he won't gross her out tomorrow. :)

If I remember correctly you just have to make sure that things are bright during the day and dark in the night. Like keep the lights low when you feed him at night and feed him where there is good daylight in the day.

I love his little smile!

I don't know about getting him on a schedule, but I love that last picture. He is cute! And "belly booger" is hilarious. Love your kids.

That's a great picture! I remember you looking for that hat. I don't like when babies have belly boogers either Peyton. "I no like that."

btw, Riley looks terrified in that one picture where she is going down the slide.

I know. She looked like that every time, but kept going for it. That was the first time, and Cory had to scoop her up because she went so fast. He's actually helping her even though it looks like he is holding her down in the water.

I just noticed that Noah is flipping us the middle finger in the last picture. What a rebel.
