Nephews

Last night I took some pictures of my nephews. They are all SOOC. I used my mom's 5D Mark ii, and her 50mm 1.4 lens. I took a ton, but only uploaded a handful to my mom's computer.

My 8 year old nephew I like to call Gaven Bieber.

My nephew Robert that I used to call Baby Bob. He's 7 years old now, hardly a baby.

This was totally his pose. :)

And one of my almost 3 year old.

10 on Tuesday!

1. Noah is getting so close to pulling himself all the way up. He has been trying really hard to get up the stairs, and almost climbed one today. I just sat back watching him. He is one determined little dude, and was not pleased when I pulled him away and closed the gate. No more open gate at the bottom of the stairs in this house.

2. I am so ready for peyton's cast to be off. It was so hot today, and we played inside while everyone else swam. She doesn't seem to think she is missing out, and doesn't even want to talk about the doctor taking her cast off. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be holding down a screaming child come next Monday!

3. Noah is the biggest dog loving baby I have ever seen. He absolutely cannot get enough of my parents golden retriever.

4. I love them.

5. Before the cracked elbow. Her hair is getting so long. I asked if I could cut it, but she said no thanks. Too bad. I love short hair on little girls. When I cut it last winter she didn't even notice, so I just might do it anyway. We'll see.

6. Pearly whites and baby blues.

7. Noah must be going through a growth spurt, the kid does not stop eating! Or maybe its just because he is a boy.

8. I am really struggling with finding things to talk about. How about some reality tv show talk?

First up, The Bachelorette: JP is my favorite, but I like Ben, too. Its hard to get past his hair though. Poor Ryan, so desperate. I really hope they don't pick him for the next Bachelor. Can't wait for the "guys tell all". As much as I dislike him, I am looking forward to the conversation with Bentley.

I will totally be watching The Bachelor Pad. Vienna and Jake, what a train wreck!

I'm totally hooked on Big Brother. I will be so sad if Jordan and Jeff get split up. I don't want either one of them to go home.

Luke and I have been watching Teen Mom together. He just sits there laughing, and I sit there shaking my head.

9. You don't even want to know what the kitchen floor looks like. I just keep handing Noah crackers so I can finish up this post.

10. Thinking about putting Peyton in a Montessori preschool. She may be able to get a scholarship, so we'll see. I just need to figure out the car situation.

Remember this picture of Peyton? This was 2 years ago. The first summer we spent in Idaho. The picture of Noah and his letter was taken in the same chair.

July is almost over, pretty crazy. I'm ready though. August 8th will pretty much be my favorite day of the summer.

ten on tuesday!

1. I'm sure most of you saw on FB that Peyton fractured her elbow on Sunday night. The dog knocked her over. Totally my fault for throwing the ball to him too close to Peyton. At first we thought that she was going to have to have a hard cast on for 6 weeks, but we went to the orthopedic surgeon this morning, and he said she only needs to wear her splint and soft cast for 3 weeks. yay! He said it was just a crack in the bone, and it hadn't shifted so it should heal quickly. We have to go back next week and get x-rays to make sure that it hasn't shifted while in the soft cast. She doesn't seem to be bothered by it at all. She's always been so adaptable.

2. The biggest bummer about Peyton having to wear the soft cast is no more swimming. :( She was getting pretty brave, and doing so well. She swam all around, and could crawl in and out of the pool from the side(wearing a puddle jumper).

3. Noah has been pretty happy the last couple of days! Yay! He was wearing me out!

4. He's a crawling maniac now.

5. I love that Peyon says she is "trunking" when she makes an elephant noise, and swings her arm around in front of her face.

6. We went bowling for one of my nephew's birthday, and had a blast. Peyton was too cute in her bowling shoes. I took some pictures on my mom's camera, but don't have them uploading on her computer. Someday I'll post them.

7. I also took some pictures of Peyton with a sparkler on the 4th of July. There is one in my header. Thanks to Cory for changing that for me!

8. If you haven't been to Idaho you should definitely put it on your list of places to visit. It's the best place to be during the summer for sure!!

9. My birthday is coming up soon, probably won't do anything exciting, but it will bring me one year closer to my 30th birthday bash that I'm currently planning with some friends.

10. Oh life, so fun. Missing Cory though. :( and my camera and imac. :)

Noah is 10 months!

Double digit months!

Noah just started crawling yesterday! Way to go, Noah! I must say, he is the cutest crawler ever! He is pretty slow, but has perfect form. :) he's also trying to pull up now. He can only get up on his knees though. He is getting better at drinking from a sippy cup, but he still needs some help. He isn't too fond of eating purees, but since he wont drink formula from a bottle or a cup I have to continue to get it in him through cereal. He has finally started "talking"... mamama and bababa. He works really hard at getting those sounds out. He has been a complete crab. He was a little sick with  virus that caused a rash on his face. Poor little guy. Now he is just a teething mess. At least he is sleeping through the night again. He was up almost all night for a few days while he was sick. I was exhausted. I hope these teeth bust through soon. The only thing that seems to make him happy is listening to music, driving around or having me hold him, but I have to be standing up and moving... not so easy to do with an almost 24 pounder! He is already working on his tantrum abilities. ::sigh:: It's been a pretty rough start to the month, but he is still the sweetest, cutest little big guy.
