Graduates

A did a few sessions of some graduates.

Congratulations, V!

One of my best friends. I was so happy that I was able to see Krista graduation from her Master's program. Way to go, Master Krista!

Sister kisses.

Of course I had to include one with my cutie even if her hair is a disaster. She's rocking a little side pony because her other pigtail fell out.

Lastly, my "little" brother, Luke. I still call him my little brother even though he is like a foot taller than I am. I can't believe he's college bound in the fall. He'll always be 6 to me. Congratulations, Lukey Lou!

Passing Time at the Airport

Our flight landed a little early, and my parents were a little late the night we flew in to Burbank. I think Peyton preferred it that way. She was able to run around outside and get some energy out. I took a few pictures to pass the time. Man, she's the cutest.

25 weeks

Pregnancy: 25 weeks

Weight Gain: 20 pounds. ha. I'm sure half of that was while I was in Cali. Chocolate donuts are too hard to resist.

Sleep: I'm not sleeping well at all.

Gender: boy

Name: Levi Thomas... for now. I'm still not completely decided. Peyton's name was so much easier. From the minute we found out she was a girl Peyton just seemed right. I never wanted to change it. There isn't a boy name that seems perfect. :/

Feeling: Tired and large.

Health: My doctor said everything looks perfect. I'm measuring on time, my blood pressure is great, and she even said my weight gain was good.

Movement: He moves a lot. You can see it from the outside, no limbs poking through or anything, but you can sit my belly jolt.

Belly: It's big and white. I still don't have any stretch marks though.

What I am looking forward to: Taking newborn pictures of him. ha.

Best moment this week: Technically it was last week. I got my haircut on the 18th, and it was wonderful getting my horse tail cut off.

What I miss:  I'm not really missing anything. I feel big, but I'm not uncomfortable yet. I'm sure that will be my complaint soon.

Food cravings: Sometimes I really want Panera bread, but I want that when I'm not pregnant.

Milestones: Last week we reached viability. If the baby were born today the doctors would do everything they could to keep him alive. Let's hope that he stays put until he is full term!

I'll have Cory take a picture of me tonight. I've been really slacking in the pregnancy belly picture taking.

Ten on Tuesday

1. Last Sunday Peyton threw up in the nursery. That was a "first" I was happy to miss. I don't know what caused her to throw up. Thankfully, she was fine the rest of the day.

2. Our Mother's Day/Father's Day/Anniversary present to ourselves.

3. Last night we had an unexpected thunder storm. I enjoyed listening to it while I fell asleep, well until I realized I forgot to take the sheets of the clothesline.

4. Peyton has been loving the Aristocats or as she called it "the Arricocats". I think it's so funny that she loves cats so much. Hopefully she'll outgrow it because we will not be adding a cat to our family.

5. Peyton also loves the movie Cars. Yesterday I gave her a red popsicle and she said, "red. Lightening Mcqueen".

6. Peyton has learned the art of delaying bedtime. For the last few nights she has been calling out to us to do little things for her like putting her book back on her nightstand, or turning off her night light, or another hug and kiss. Last night she was calling for me, and Cory went in there, and she told him she wanted me to close her door. :/ "Mommy close door. Mommy do it".

7. I counted calories for a day. ha.

8. Have you seen the diapers that look like jeans? Weird.

9. I'm trying to build up enough energy to pull the millions of weeds out of our flower bed.

10. An image from the retirement party I photographed while I was in VTA.

Dad, Mom and Two Little Girlies

I was so excited when C asked me if I would take pictures of her family while I was in Cali! I had never met baby K, and big sister A was probably 3 the last time I saw her. I just wanted to share a few pictures of their session.

Aren't they the cutest family?!!

We're Back

Peyton and I are back in Alabama. We had a great time visiting friends and family in California. I took a ton of pictures while I was there, just not very many of Peyton. I'll probably post some of the photo sessions I had while I was out there.

Steph and I took the kids to the park a couple of times. I thought it would be nice letting the kids play while we sat in the grass and talked. not so much. When her kids were off playing by themselves Peyton needed my attention, and when Peyton was sitting in the grass Steph was helping Kayley and Cole. We still had fun though.

Go ahead and judge her outfit. ha. I wanted her to be comfortable.

So brave, and determined.

Giving the balance beam a try.

It's much easier to sit, and scoot across.

Then I will blink, and she'll be this big...

It seems like just last year that Kayley was Peyton's size.

I love that Kayley wanted to pose with her soccer ball. I wish I could be there to watch her play in the fall. She's totally going to be the MVP.

A few more of some of my favorite kids

Is he not just the cutest!?!!

I Love the Beach!

Sorry for the blog slacking. Peyton and I are having a great time in California. I knew I missed living here, but man, I really miss living here. We went to the beach with my friend and her  kids on Saturday evening. Peyton wasn't crazy about the water because its was cold, but she had fun digging in the sand. Kayley and Cole had a blast playing in the water. They were soaked by the time we left. So great!

Here's a slideshow of our fun.

Ten on Tuesday

1. Peyton was a crabby mess the last couple of weeks. She was having several meltdowns throughout the day. I wasn't sure if it was her new toddler self or if something else was bothering her. I'm happy to report that she is back to being her easy going, and obedient self. She also has two new teeth.

2. Peyton is getting close to being able to reach both pedals on her tricycle.

3. Yesterday was our first accident free day since we started potty training 2 weeks ago. Yay! I don't know why, but she would great in the mornings, and then in the afternoons she would have accidents. I don't know if she was just sick of using the potty by then or what. She still doesn't tell me when she has to go, but she will go to the bathroom by herself sometimes.

4. Peyton loves having her toenails painted. I'm sure she'd like her fingers painted as well, but I have a hard enough time with her toes. She calls nail polish "medicine". I'm not sure why.

5. Peyton used to  call bananas "nana", but now she says, "bow-nana". I love it.

6.  Have I mentioned that Peyon likes peanut butter now? She's been loving pb&j for a few weeks now. Good for her.

7. I bought Peyton a Care Bears shirt. I've always been a hater of character clothes, but for some reason this one doesn't bother me. I guess it's because it's something I would have liked when I was little.

8. Right now I'm writing this entry, Peyton is playing with her little dog figurines, and Daragan is watching Yo Gabba Gabba in the living room.

9. This morning i was helping Peyton do summersaults, and she asked me to do one. I couldn't do it. I don't know if it's because I'm pregnant or if I  just can't do them anymore. Can you still do a summersault?

10. Oh man, today is not an accident free day. :(
