We're Here.

Birmingham to Phoenix was our longest flight, and Peyton slept for about 10 minutes, and cried for probably 3 minutes when she woke up. Poor girl looked so tired, and probably wasn't feeling well because we were descending and the pressure was bad. The flight really went by quickly though. We never got off the plane, and went straight to Las Vegas. It was a quick flight with no tears. We then proceeded on to Salt Lake City. Peyton was exshausted by this point. There was just too much going on for her to fall asleep. I put a movie on for her, but the flight was so short I had to turn it off before it was over. That didn't go over too well. We had a little bit of tears, but it was easily resolved by taking her out of her car seat. Peyton fell asleep as soon as we took off to Boise. I think the flight was an hour, and she slept the entire way. She was not happy when I had to wake her up to get off the plane. I really felt bad for her because no one likes to be woken up to bright lights, and loud noises when they're tired. I think we were on the same plane for 8 hours. I actually prefer staying on the plane because hauling her car seat around is NOT fun. She's already back on schedule. It helps that you can't hear anything from her room. Hooray for a big house with thick walls!

My parent's house in Idaho is AWESOME! Yesterday we went swimming, and I was loving the pool slide. :) It's hot here, but there is no humidity. I actually got cold when I got out of the pool. I kept telling my mom I was cold, and she was like, "Kim, it's 90 degrees". I'll probably be freezing in California. I only took two pictures yesterday. I'll post them later. Grace has been staying the week with my mom, and today is her last day. I'm not sure what we're going to do, but I know we'll be busy. Look for pictures tomorrow. Well, it's breakfast time. See ya.

I'm not looking forward to traveling with a child. What do you have to do with the car seat? I'm still learning. I thought you just check them at the front gate. I can't wait to see pictures of your trip! Zach is heading that direction the last week we are out in California, I'm a bit jealous! :)

Peyton had her own seat, so I brought the car seat on board. If there is an extra seat they'll let you take your car seat on. You can either check it with your baggage or gate check it. It sucks having to haul it around the airport, but I would feel better gate checking it, so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting lost. I think the younger the babies are the easier it is to travel, well if they're good sleepers. :) It's not my favorite thing to do, but you'll be fine, Lindz. No worries. Everyone is really understanding, well the people that have kids are. ha. At least you'll have Zach with you!

My mom had cake for me here, and Gracie Hughes, and my little cousins, Hunter and Ty sang me happy birthday, but that was it.
