3 Months!

Look at that cute little duder man. He looks more like a 6 month old than a 3 month old, huh?! I bought him size 3 diapers today! Some of his 3-6 month clothes no longer fit, but he can still wear most, barely though. I'm stuffing him in them as long as I can because he has some super cute outfits. The next size up is still a little big. The onesie he is wearing in the above picture is 6-9 months. I hate the in between sizes stage. Soooo, I totally just licked my plate that has mashed potatoes on it without really realizing what I was doing. Daragan was staring at me, so I thought it would be best if she finished licking the rest. I mean, who licks their plate? ha. I guess I shouldn't blog and eat mashed potatoes. Anyway, enough about my chubby self, and back to my chubby little baby.

He is a smiling, cooing, giggling maniac. I love it. His big gummy grin always starts at the corner of his mouth, and then takes over his face. I'm not good at taking a picture of it though. I feel like he actually loves me now. ha. Before when I talked to him he just looked at me like I was the most boring person in the world. I love that he went from a stone face to a little giggle man. I wonder if it will be like that with the rest of his mile stones. Like if it will take him forever to crawl, but once he figures it out if he'll be a super crazy fast crawler, and go from not cruising around furniture to running in a matter of days... ya know what I mean?

He is still not sleeping through the night. :( so sad for me. I'm not sure if it's because he is a pacy baby or what. I'm new to the whole pacifier lover thing. About a week ago he slept 8 hours straight, and I really thought he was on his way to sleeping from bedtime to morning time. What a mean little trick. He always goes 6 hours without waking up, and then it's a little came of waking up every couple of hours for his pacifier, and if he wakes up two times within an hour I feed him. Last night...or actually this morning, I fed him at 2:30 am, 5:30 am, then at 7 am when he was ready to start his day. He still is only awake for a little over an hour before he is ready for a nap again. I've tried keeping him awake longer to see if he'd sleep better at night, but that just makes him only take 45 minute naps, and he still wakes up in the middle of the night. I know some people would love to have their baby on his schedule because they are still feeding every 2 hours all day, and all night long, but... I need a 10 hour night time sleeper!

He doesn't roll anymore. I'm actually really bad about making sure he gets tummy time because he does love to bat at his toys on his little play mat. He just smiles and coos away at the little monkey, lion, and tiger. It's pretty adorable. He's has a pretty flat head though. It's my December's resolution to make tummy time a priority, so he can work on his arm strength, and get to rolling. Well, I guess that's it. I know the monthly updates, are pretty long, so if you got this far hooray for you!

Girl I lick my plates all the time. At least once a week, its the side effect of living alone and loving food. Ain't no shame, and I don't have a dog to judge me.

I'm right there with you and Hillary. Plate lickers club! Chubby fatty little fat fat! I love it! Hunter was the same exact way. He was a cow! Well, he still is a pretty big cow. HA! I'm hoping your sleep will get better. I'll be praying for sleepers for the lil' dude. I SO WISH that I could have a 10 hour night sleep. I don't know if my body would know what to do with itself.

Love the picture! He is such a cute, round little guy.

I remember struggling with the pacifier. For both kids we finally decided to put it back in once, then allow the crying to begin. It might be heart wrenching but it's better in the long run! It took Cole longer than Kayley to sleep through the night but Cole was also fat like Noah and needed more to eat. Hope it gets better soon my friend.
