For the last few days Peyton has been standing on the back of her tricycle steps, putting her hand to her chest, and saying, "hi, I'm Peyton". I have no idea where she got this from, but she does it all throughout the day. I guess she's practicing her public speaking.
If Peyton asks me a question and I don't know what she is talking about I tell her, "I don't know", and she replies, "remember", and if I tell her no she starts yelling it over and over, "REMEMBER, REMEMBER, REMEMBER?"... like somehow if she she keeps saying it I'll remember what she is talking about. I guess it's kind of like people speaking in English loudly and slowly to make non English speakers understand what they are saying. :/
Peyton is becoming more attached to Mike Wazowski. It's cute and all, but he is getting dirty. She insisted on him sitting in her highchair with her this morning while she ate a bowl of cereal. She set him on her tray in a nice pile of spilled milk. Yuck! I'm afraid his limbs are going to start falling off.
This morning Peyton woke up crying, "Daragan ate my carrot". ha. I guess she was having a bad dream. Then she asked to eat a hot dog for breakfast. She won't even try a hotdog. weird.
Pretend play is cute and all, but I'm sick of drinking out of her fake cups, and eating her fake food. I'm not really looking forward to the hours of candyland and hi ho cheerio either.
Yesterday Peyton told the lady bagging our groceries that she was cute. We were at Publix so of course she walked us out to put our groceries in the car. Peyton didn't like that she was pushing the cart. She looked at her and said, "no push carpet". ha. Apparently she only liked her in the store. So add that to the list of things Peyton mixes up. cart=carpet.
I was eating yogurt and Peyton looked at it and said, "what is it, mud?". For the record it did look pretty dirt like. It was a raspberry fruit at the bottom mix in.
I always give Daragan the empty yogurt container to lick, and Peyton saw her licking it, and took it away, and said, "no, Daragan. gross."
Whenever Peyton falls down she says, "Awh, it's slippery".
She is at such a fun age. She makes me laugh all day long.
Here's a really good picture Cory took of us. niiicee.

I love everything about this post! Peyton is quite the character!
Haaha. I laughed at all of those. So funny. I love this age. I can't wait to hear all the funny things she says in person! Hopefully we will be friends.
and my favorite one btw, was "what is it, mud?" like it would be completely normal for you to be eating mud.
