Hillary and I took Maddison shopping when she was about 4 years old, and I told her she could pick out a shirt. She ended up picking out an ugly pink shirt that had ruffles down the middle of it. There was no way I was going to spend the afternoon with her wearing that, so I showed her a cute red roxy shirt, and brainwashed her into thinking it was awesome. If I remember correctly, Hillary told Maddison that the pink shirt had "a little bit of ugly in it". We then decided when we had kids of their own we would allow them a day where they could wear whatever they wanted, and we'd call it " a little bit of ugly day".
Peyton isn't old enough to pick out her own clothes or dress herself yet, but i thought I would prepare myself for what's to come. The other day I put together the most missed matched outfit ever. It was her "a little bit of ugly day". It's amazing that cute clothes can become so uncute when paired together like this:
Her face is hysterical, and this might be one of my favorite pictures. I actually do love all the colors in it, but it's her pose that makes it awesome.

There's no way Peyton will ever have a successful "little bit of ugly day". She's so cute the ugliest outfit will be an instant hit!
she has more dexterity with her toes than her finger.
Maybe she's using this as a toe ring. http://www.ffxiah.com/item.php?id=13307
ZING! Nerdiest comment of the century.
haha nice. i remember that day as if it were 8 years ago. jk lol brb. totally remember. and totally still plan on letting my kids have ugly days. only one a week though. they'll thank me later.
OMG daniel! stop announcing our geekdom to the world!
man those have really gone up in price since the last time i checked.
I'm still trying to get over the fact that Tyler let kayley wear christmas socks to church two weeks ago with an outfit that didn't need red reindeer socks! I think I need to chill out and let her have an ugly day once in a while.
LMAO! OMGSH! I can not stop laughing! I can totally picture you and Hillary doing that!
