last night on the beach

i'm not sure about this picture

There is something about it that I really love, but there is something about it that I don't like. I can't put my finger on it. Help me out. Does it not look like her? Maybe it's because it's not in focus or because I took the picture looking up at her. I don't know. I'm trying to decide if I should have it printed big or try again.

10 on tuesday!

1. Cory's cousin got married this past weekend in Clearwater, Fl. We left at 8:30 pm to make the 10 drive down there on Wednesday night, and got back last night. The wedding was beautiful, seeing old friends was good, we had fun at the pool and beach, and Peyton was an excellent traveler!

2. I attempted 3 photo shoots with Peyton while were at the beach, and I'm pretty disappointed in all of them. :(

I had such high hopes for this tutu bathing suit.

Not all of the images were a bust. I do like this one, and there are a few more good ones from this night, and some good ones of Peyton and Cory's dad the night of the wedding.

3. Daragan is still at the kennel. Cory is going to pick her up on his way home from work. It seems a little strange not having her  in the house, but it's nice  not having to deal with her.

4. Did I tell you that we got Peyton two fish last week? The really little one died the first night we got it; he was sucked up into the filter. We thought for sure we'd come home to another dead fish, but it's still alive! It's name is Ponyo.

5. Today is going to be a day of unpacking and doing laundry.

6. Peyton and I are going to Idaho next month. It will probably be the last time I travel without Cory. I can't imagine flying with a toddler and a newborn, though I have seen it done. I guess we'll wait and see what kind of baby the little guy is before I ban flying without Cory.

7. Peyton has been obsessed with seeing airplanes since we went to Cali last month. She points them all out and screams, "airplane. you see it?".

8. I can't believe it's June already! April and May flew by.

9. What day is Father's Day?

10. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the sandcastle Cory, Tyler, Caroline and I built. It was very serious business. Of course there was no trace of our hard work the next morning.

Graduates

A did a few sessions of some graduates.

Congratulations, V!

One of my best friends. I was so happy that I was able to see Krista graduation from her Master's program. Way to go, Master Krista!

Sister kisses.

Of course I had to include one with my cutie even if her hair is a disaster. She's rocking a little side pony because her other pigtail fell out.

Lastly, my "little" brother, Luke. I still call him my little brother even though he is like a foot taller than I am. I can't believe he's college bound in the fall. He'll always be 6 to me. Congratulations, Lukey Lou!

Passing Time at the Airport

Our flight landed a little early, and my parents were a little late the night we flew in to Burbank. I think Peyton preferred it that way. She was able to run around outside and get some energy out. I took a few pictures to pass the time. Man, she's the cutest.

25 weeks

Pregnancy: 25 weeks

Weight Gain: 20 pounds. ha. I'm sure half of that was while I was in Cali. Chocolate donuts are too hard to resist.

Sleep: I'm not sleeping well at all.

Gender: boy

Name: Levi Thomas... for now. I'm still not completely decided. Peyton's name was so much easier. From the minute we found out she was a girl Peyton just seemed right. I never wanted to change it. There isn't a boy name that seems perfect. :/

Feeling: Tired and large.

Health: My doctor said everything looks perfect. I'm measuring on time, my blood pressure is great, and she even said my weight gain was good.

Movement: He moves a lot. You can see it from the outside, no limbs poking through or anything, but you can sit my belly jolt.

Belly: It's big and white. I still don't have any stretch marks though.

What I am looking forward to: Taking newborn pictures of him. ha.

Best moment this week: Technically it was last week. I got my haircut on the 18th, and it was wonderful getting my horse tail cut off.

What I miss:  I'm not really missing anything. I feel big, but I'm not uncomfortable yet. I'm sure that will be my complaint soon.

Food cravings: Sometimes I really want Panera bread, but I want that when I'm not pregnant.

Milestones: Last week we reached viability. If the baby were born today the doctors would do everything they could to keep him alive. Let's hope that he stays put until he is full term!

I'll have Cory take a picture of me tonight. I've been really slacking in the pregnancy belly picture taking.
