ten on tuesday!

1. We painted our kitchen. It's not the color I envisioned, but it's growing on me.

2. Peyton is a closet baby liker. I walked into the playroom and she was giving a doll a kiss. I said, "aww... that's so sweet. Is that your baby?" She looked at me, and then threw the doll on the floor. ha.

3. Potty training is going ok. Somedays she does great, and then other days are very frustrating. Yesterday the only time she had an accident was when we went on a walk and she was sitting in her car. She always seems to pee in her car seat. I'm getting tired of washing her cover. Her accidents usually happen when she is sitting down for longer than 5 minutes... or when she is laying on Hillary's bed.

4. Hillary came to visit last weekend. It was great having her here. I wish we all lived in the same place, or at least were able to vacation together once a year.

5. I wanted to get some pictures of Hillary and Peyton at the Botanical Gardens, but we got attacked by mosquitoes. I think I got like three bites, Peyton got a couple and Hillary got about a hundred. Sorry, Hillary! The pictures I did get aren't the best, and the color is all over the place, but they captured our very short time there.

Heading into the Alabama woods. They both look a little nervous about it.

Oh, Hillary's got this. Peyton is still looking a little uncertain.

Checking to make sure Peyton is ok.

Getting dusted off after tripping over a root.

Hillary discovers her first mosquito attack.

Chatting about their morning. Peyton talked to Hillary non stopped in the car.

6. Wachovia's online banking is driving me nuts. They just need to hurry up and make the Wells Fargo switch.

7. It is way too hot. It wouldn't be so bad if I had more than a toddler pool to lounge in. It's not even really a pool...

8. Cory hung some shelves for me, so now I love him forever and ever. It was our deal. :)

9. I suck at painting. I don't know why, but the paint always peels off the wall when I remove the tape. What gives? See above the crown molding? I don't even remember what color we painted our ceiling, and I can't find the paint chip, so i don't know how I'm going to retouch it. ::sigh:: I really don't want to have to paint the entire ceiling.

10. Yesterday I moved our pictures off our computer onto our external hard drive. Is it really necessary to have over 3,000 pictures in less than a year?

Last Day In Idaho

This is the last batch of pictures from our Idaho trip. I wanted some good pictures of Peyton, Ty and Hunter. They weren't in to it at all. I still love the pictures though.

This picture cracks me up. I love it!

Peyton doesn't look impressed with whatever I was doing to try to make them smile.

Poor Ty, he wanted to give Peyton a kiss so bad, but she kept putting her arm in his face. I think he finally settled on giving her a kiss on the arm.

So there's our trip to Idaho in pictures. There really isn't much to write about. It was a great time with family. Lots of cousin playing, pool swimming, park visiting, family gathering and relaxing.

Just some pictures of Peyton talking to Cory on the phone while we were in Idaho.

More Pool Fun

We went swimming pretty much everyday except on the days we were sick. Well, more like played in the pool.

Apparently she was really into what she was doing. She looks so serious in all of these pictures.

Cantaloupe break

We had lots of fun playing volleyball and badminton in the evenings. I learned that playing volleyball while pregnant is not the wisest thing for me to do. I don't know how to take it easy while playing. It was so much fun though! I stink at badminton though!

Another Park Day

Hunter and Peyton last year.

Just another day at the park in Idaho.

Sunscreen much?

I love this picture of them. Hunter is so patient with Peyton.

Love him! Who knows what he did with his other shoe. ha.

10 on tuesday!

1. So, I guess my new thing is getting sick every time I fly. :( When I flew home from CA at the end of May I got a 24 stomach bug. When I flew to Idaho the same bug seemed to appear. Poor little Peyton got it too. So we've been home for a week now and Peyton and I are still fighting colds. We must have caught them on the plane home from Idaho. Boo! The combination of being pregnant and having a cold does not make for a good night's rest.

2. My suitcase is still not fully unpacked. Chances are I won't even do it until Thursday.

3. Hillary flies in on Thursday night. How grand! I think the last time I spent my birthday with Hillary was when I was 21. We're never in the same place at the same time.

4. Peyton is doing a great job at going potty. Today is day 6. We haven't had an accident free day yet, but everyday she seems to be grasping the concept more. Her accidents happen when she is sitting down. On sunday she had an accident in her stroller and car seat, but i didn't even care because I was so proud of her for using the public bathroom at the mall. She didn't freak out or anything. Yesterday her only accident was in her "thinking chair" while she was reading books. She still is in a diaper at during nap and bedtime, and has yet to wake up dry.

5. Peyton has also been telling us no about everything. What happened to be easy going, compliant daughter?

6. I'm watching a 2 1/2 year old little boy for the next few days. He doesn't take a nap, and will be here for 11 hours a day. It's going to be an exhausting week, but I'm thankful for the opportunity to bring in a little money.

7. We had to buy a new car battery yesterday. :( Boo. At least that's all it was though.

8. The sour cream in our fridge doesn't expire until after baby boy is born.

9. Last week when I was pulling weeds I got a splinter or thorn stuck under my fingernail... like way under. I was able to pull half of it out, but it broke so there is a sliver of something stuck under the middle of my fingernail. It's not pleasant.

10. It can be raining in the entire state of Alabama except our city. Our grass is so dead, and everywhere else is green. But, I think I've found out the way to make it rain here, washing the car. Every time I do it, you know all 3 times :), it rains. Never fails.
