ten on tuesday!

1. Peyton's birthday is in 50 days!

2. Thursday will mark 4 years of wedded bliss for Cory and I.

3. We are going camping for the first time this Saturday. I'm super excited!

4. We bought a bike trailer last night. Happy anniversary to us. :) I can also use it as a stroller which is super great because two kids can fit in it. I now can go on walks with the girls, and take them to the park! Yay!

4. Polar bears and penguins love the ice. Brrr it's cold, and that's so nice.

5. Congratulations to Kayley for graduating Pre-School last Friday!

6. Tyler and Caroline came over last night, and we ate cheeseburgers, big ol' corn (corn on the cob), and chips in the sweltering heat. I loved it though. Summer time is fun! We had to make our s'mores in the microwave because we didn't have a fire. They didn't taste as good, but that didn't stop me from eating two.

7. Jaida came to my house this morning with 4 brand new teeth, 4! Wow! I'm sure Peyton's will show up soon.

8. Almost every time I go in to Peyton's room to get her up from her nap she is standing in her crib saying, "done, done, done".

9. My bike needs a new tube or tire or both. It's also in need of a desperate tune up.

10. I feel very happy today.

Visit with Grammy and Papa

This weekend we headed up to Madison to visit Cory's parents and grandparents. Grammy and Papa live in Louisiana and we haven't seen them since Peyton was like 6 weeks old. We had a really good time, and Peyton has jumped right back in to her normal routine. Of course I have lots of pictures to share.

We took a walk after a huge, DELICIOUS, steak dinner.

Porter came too. She's gotten a lot bigger since the last time we saw her, but she is still ALL puppy!

She's so cute! She's fun to visit, but I think I've had my share of high energy dogs to last me a lifetime. We will definitely not be adding a boxer to our family. Look at that sweet face though!

I'd say Peyton looks like a Sayre.

I made all my favorite pictures black and white.

For my non southern friends, this is pretty much what every little girl dresses like in Alabama. Their bows are usually 10x bigger though. :)

This is what happens when you leave a 73 degree house, and go outside in hot, humid weather. My lens fogged up as soon as I walked outside. Still holding on to that chess piece. :)

Wow, that was a ton of pictures! That's nothing new though. :P

Oak Mountain

Last weekend we went to Oak Mountain with "Auntie" Aimee, and her dog, Dublin. We hadn't been since I was in my second trimester. We had her new umbrella stroller, and it worked pretty good through the gravel roads and root filled paths, but it wasn't the easiest thing to do, so we only went on one trail. We went to the little lake before our hike, and let Dublin run around. Peyton got in the water for a minute too.

Getting lathered up in sunscreen. Do you think I put too much on her? I am paranoid about melanoma after watching Grey's Anatomy. Of course, I don't put suncreen on myself...I should probably do that.

I thought you was a ghost.

Completely gross, I know. I wanted to see if the mud would bother her. She loved it. Next time we go we're going to have our suits on and go to the beach area. We couldn't go over there this time because dogs aren't allowed.

Yes, I realize her straps are too loose. We were careful, and did a lot of tilting back, they will be fixed. I know you guys make fun of me for all her hats, but I've gotta protect her new baby skin.

"Kim, are you coming". I got a lot of that. :) I was trying to get a picture with sun flare in it, but it was too dark in the woods, and my shutter speed was set really slow, so all I got was a bunch of blur.

Annnd, no pictures of me . Aimee did offer though, but Alabama is hot and humid, and I was looking quite frazzled.

Before too Much Time Passes

There are a few flavors of baby food that Peyton loves, I mean really loves.

How ridiculous is this child? haha. Poor little girl. I had to take a few pictures before I got her something else to eat. That was the worst meltdown to date. I don't know if she was starving, still tired or what, but she was not happy when I told her it was all gone. I wish I could remember what it was she was eating. I know she looks kind of gross with snot running out of her nose, and food all around her mouth, but I thought it was blog worthy.

Not to be a Downer

I don't mean to be a blogger downer, but I found another blog that is breaking my heart. Please pray for this little girl, and her family. Hug your kids a little tighter, give them the attention and love they need, and thank God for another day that they are healthy, well, and thriving.

ten on tuesday

1. Peyton puts my cell phone up to her ear, and says "uh".

2. Jaida is going to start coming 4 days a week every other week.

3. We are a one car family now.

4. We pulled the carpet out of our living room and hallway this past weekend. My neck is still killing me.

5. We bought a maclaren umbrella stroller, and I LOVE it! It's pink & black, and oh so stylish. Peyton really likes it too. I think she likes sitting more upright. She sat really far back in her Chicco, and it was such a beast to haul around.

6. We still haven't gotten our tickets to California.

7. Today Jaida came to my house without a diaper on. Of course I didn't realize it until she was soaked in pee. Gross.

8. Peyton and I had a really fun summer day yesterday. We played in her little pool, went to the park, and went on a walk around the neighborhood. It was fun, but I could barely move my neck afterwards.

9. Playing peek-a-boo is getting old. ha.

1o. Did I ever mention that my parents bought a house in Idaho? It's AWESOME!
